The Animal Control Division is responsible for locating and removing unwanted, dangerous, and nuisance animals. This division enforces local ordinances and state laws related to animals. The Animal Control Division is responsible for maintaining the City of Cochran Animal Shelter and also serves the unincorporated area of Bleckley County through a service agreement.
