Bid for Roof Repair/Replacement
The City of Cochran is Soliciting competitive sealed bids for roof repair/replacement at City Hall and the Municipal Building. City Hall is located at 112 West Dykes Street, and the Municipal Building is located at 102 N. Second Street in Cochran. The deadline for sealed bids is Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 2:00 at City Hall in Cochran, at which time the bids will be opened. Bid specifications are available at City Hall, located at 112 West Dykes Street in Cochran. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive technicalities.

Zoning Committee Meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community House at 192 Third Street
The Zoning Committee has four (4) items on the agenda:
- Public Hearing on recommending amendment to Section 66-79 of the existing zoning ordinance to add Hair Salons as a Conditional Use in an R-1 Zoning District.
- Public Hearing on a conditional use application from Ms. Sandra McPhaul to operate a hair salon on an R-1 zoning parcel located at 208 South Second Street.
- Public Hearing on recommending rezoning of a 1.48-acre tract at 182 East Dykes Street from R-1 Residential to C-2 Roadside Commercial- Rene W. Cannon, Owner
- Work session on Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map update.
